Que increíble es cuando tachas una destino de tu "bucket list". Cartagena es sin dudas una de las ciudades más lindas, pintorescas y con una buena vibra dentro del calor caribeño y la cultura Colombiana. Describo esta ciudad como: llena de vida, porque es así como me sentí en mi paseo diario por la ciudad amurallada y porque aunque pasé tres veces por la misma calle siempre logré verla distinta. Los balcones de Cartagena son robustos y están llenos de flores, son detalles que le dan vida y carácter. La arquitectura y sus colores es realmente fascinante y si a eso le sumas el encanto de la noche se duplica su belleza y romanticismo. Es importante saber que todo despierta muy tarde (en especial por el calor), es siempre mejor pasear por la noche entre plaza y plaza ya que son estos los puntos claves rodeados de bares y restaurantes; recomiendo: la plaza Fernández de Madrid, San Diego y Santo Domingo.
Por su puesto caminamos el malecón, con la compañía de una impresionante puesta de sol, que desde la muralla volvió la experiencia un poco más agradable. No puedo hablar si es peligrosa como ciudad pues mi experiencia fue totalmente positiva, pero nunca olvidé que es Latinoamerica y fui siempre precavida.

How incredible it is when you cross out a destiny of your bucket list. Cartagena is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful, scenic and with a good vibes within the Caribbean heat and Colombian culture. I describe this city as: full of life, because that is how I felt in my daily walk through the walled city eventhough I passed the same street several times I always managed to see it differently. The balconies of Cartagena are sturdy and full of flowers, they are details that give it life and character. The architecture and its colors is really fascinating and if you add it the charm of the night it doubles its beauty and romance. It is important to know that everything wakes up very late (especially because of the heat), it is always better to walk at night between squares since these are the key points surrounded by bars and restaurants. I recommend: Plaza Fernández de Madrid, San Diego and Santo Domingo.
Of course we walked the pier with the company of an impressive sunset which from the wall made the experience a little more pleasant. I can not speak if it is dangerous as a city because my experience was totally positive, but I never forgot that it is Latin America and I was always cautious.
