una Mujer de Verdad

 Hay momentos en la vida que sin darte cuenta tomas una decisión que te marca, cambia o simplemente te enseña algo nuevo. En ese instante no lo notas pero cuando miras en retrospectiva, notas que fueron puntos trascendentales y muy significativos en tu camino.

La semana pasada compartí el video de Diana Leon (más abajo puedes volver a verlo), luego de verlo no he dejado de inspirarme en él y pensar en cómo pequeños pasos han hecho mi vida diferente, me han convertido en la mujer que soy y que definitivamente con mente abierta siempre a reinventarme.

Así, hoy me ánimo a contarles un poco más de mi historia y de esas pequeñas decisiones que pienso me han convertido en #unaMujerdeVerdad:

• Abrir un blog de moda que terminó convirtiéndose en un blog de estilo personal… si, puedo parecer muy segura al mostrar mis fotos y abrirles mi closet pero eso tomó mucho tiempo. Me ayudó muchísimo a conocerme, creer en mí misma y perseguir mis sueños.

• Nunca decir no a los retos por más grandes que parezca y trabajar muy duro en ellos… en el 2014 acepté el reto más grande (hasta  hoy) de mi carrera en la arquitectura. En un mar de hombres muy experimentados, me convertí en la primera Directora y Mujer en dirigir mi departamento. Lo digo con orgullo y lucho cada día dando el 200% de mí.

•  Aprender a manejar… la comodidad del copiloto estuvo bien por muchos años pero la libertad de poder ir por mi cuenta a donde quiera no tiene precio.

 

Me encantaría escuchar sus historias, se que están llenas de valor y coraje para enfrentar sus propios retos. No importa si son grandes o pequeñas decisiones alguien en este momento puede estar necesitando escucharlas para tomar fuerza, enfrentar su gran desafío y convertirse en una mujer diferente, una mujer valiente,  #unaMujerdeVerdad

There are moments in life when without even knowing you take decisions that change you or just teach you something new. In that instant you do not notice but when you look in hindsight note those were moments and very significant points in your way.

Last week I shared the video of Diana Leon (below you can see it again). After seeing it I have not ceased to fell inspire and think about how small steps have made my life different, they've formed the woman I am and that definitely help to reinvent myself all over again in the future.

That's why today i like to tell you a little more of my story and those little decisions that I believe turned me into a real woman  "#unaMujerdeVerdad":

•     Opening a fashion blog that ended up becoming a personal fashion style blog... yes, I could seem very safe to showing you my pictures and opening up my closet but it took a long time to feel right and safe doind it. It helped me a lot to know and believe in myself in addition it pall me to pursue my dreams.

•     Never say no to new challenges, even if they look bsuper big and work very hard on them... in 2014 I accepted the greatest challenge (so far) of my career in architecture. In a sea of ​​very experienced men, I became the first woman to lead as Director and my department. I say this with pride and struggle every day giving 200% of myself.

•  Learning to drive...  passenger comfort was good for many years but the freedom to go wherever by myself is priceless.

I love to hear your stories, they are for sure full of bravery and courage to face your own challenges. No matter how big or small those decisions were, at this point someone may be in need to listen them in order to feel strogger, face their greatest challenge and become a different woman, a brave woman a real woman #unaMujerdeVerdad
