La moda es una pasión, un medio de expresión y principalmente para mi un escape y motivación personal. El jueves pude asistir a la "fiesta VIP" de apertura de la tienda de Forever 21, fue un poco dificil hacer buenas fotos para ustedes pues había mas gente de la que imaginé, pero hicimos nuestro mejor esfuerzo!
Al estar rodeada de tantas personas con la misma emoción, al ver que una de las cadenas más fuertes de moda llega por fin al pais, pude recordar la importancia de formar una cultura de moda con más democracia e igualdad de condiciones. Siempre he pensado que la moda y el estilo no se pueden definir en cifras monetarias, marcas o el tratar de impresionar a otra persona, pero con el paso del tiempo se puede perder el norte. Forever 21 me ayudó a recordar todo esto y volver a lo básico, el entusiasmo y el sentimiento que la moda y el estilo mueven dentro de mi.

Sobre mi outfit... Le aposté a un blanco y negro muy cómodo para asisitir al evento. Una mezcla se prendas básicas y sencillas con un toque trendy a través de la capa. Una tendencia que sigue muy fuerte (trend alert!) pero a la que hoy intenté darle un toque diferente con el cinturón ya que sentí que mi atuendo requería marcar un poquito la cintura.

Fashion is a passion, a mean of expression and mainly for me an escape and personal motivation. On thursday I attended the opening "VIP Party" of Forever 21 store. It was a bit difficult to take good pictures for you as there were more people than I imagined, but we did our best!
Being surrounded by so many people with the same excitement, seeing that one of the strongest fashion network finally arrives to the country, I could remember the importance of building a culture of fashion with more democracy and equality of conditions. I always thought that fashion and style can not be defined by monetary figures, brands or trying to impress someone else, but with the passage of time the north can be lose. Forever 21 helped me to remember all of this and took me back to basics: enthusiasm and the feeling that fashion and style move inside me.

About my outfit ... I bet on a comfortable black and white outfit to attend the event. A mixture of basics and simple clothes with a trendy twist through the cape. This trend remains strong (trend alert!) but today I tried to give it a different touch with the belt as I felt my attire required little definition in the waist.
