DIY: shorts desteñidos y encaje

Este verano entre el calor y las vacaciones decidí darles otro uso a unos antiguos jeans: shorts desteñidos o tie dye con detalle de encaje en los bolsillos. Un DIY (do it yourself) muy fácil y barato, la verdad menos de 1.00 usd. En tan solo tres pasos:

This summer between heat and holiday I decided to give a different use my old jeans: tie dye shorts with lace detail on the pockets. A DIY (do it yourself) very easy and cheap, actually less than 1.00 usd. In just three steps:

1. Midete los jeans y marca un aproximado de la altura a los que los deseas, con esa marca realiza el corte.

1. Fit your jeans and mark an approximate height to which you want to wear them, use the trademark to cut the legs.

 2. En un recipiente coloca agua y cloro o lejía, sumerge gradualmente los shorts en esta solución, hasta que obtengas los tonos que mas te gusten (las proporciones y tiempos dependerán de la marca del producto). Finalmente, lava la prenda.

2. Join water and bleach in a bowl, immersed shorts gradually in this solution, until you get the tones that you like (percentages and times will depend on the brand of the product). Finally, wash the garment.

3. Cuadra el encaje sobre los bolsillos y con la ayuda de alfileres fijalos para luego coserlos. Listo!!! Fácil verdad? espero que les guste!!!

3. Encase the lace over the pockets and with the help of pins attach the lace to help you to sew. Ready! Easy right? hope you like it!
