Películas inspiradas en la moda

Después de los premios Oscar y su fiebre por ver las películas galardonadas, me detuve a pensar en aquellas películas inspiradas en la moda, que la verdad no puedo dejar de ver! Aunque algunas de ellas las he visto tantas veces que hasta podría recitar los diálogos... Seguramente les pasa lo mismo (prefiero pensarlo así para no sentirme tan mal al admitirlo jaja!), por eso quise hacer una lista con las películas inspiradas en la moda que a mi criterio son las mejores o me muero por ver:

After the Oscars and it's fever for watching awarded films, I stopped to think about those films inspired by fashion, wich honestly I can not watching! Some of them I have seen so many times that I  could even recite its dialogues... Surely it happens to you too (I prefer to think so I don't feel so bad to admit it jaja!) So, I wanted to make a list of films inspired by the fashion, those ones that in my opinion are the best or I'm dying to see:

Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)

Audrey luce realmente encantadora interpretando a la socialité Hollly Golightly, creo que por esta película todas tenemos un LBD en nuestros closets. Todo un clásico!!

Audrey looks really lovely playing the socialite Holly Golightly, I think this movie is the reason why we all have a LBD in our closets. A classic!!

The devil wears Prada (2006)

Un básico para entender el mundo de la moda. La historia sobre una joven asistente que pasa de poco estilo a prendas de alta costura. Escenas con maravillosos outfits de Chanel, DKNY, Calvin Klein y Marni. Como olvidar el " That's all" de Miranda Priesley. Simplemente me encanta.

Basic for understanding the fashion world. This story about a young assistant with poor style who turn into a stylish woman wearing couture. Scenes with wonderful outfits by Chanel, DKNY, Calvin Klein and Marni. How can I forget the "That's all" of Miranda Priesley. I just love it!!

Sex and the city: the movie (2008-2010)

 

Saga de culto de cualquier fashionista, la intervención de innumerables diseñadores, el estilo de Carrie y los zapatos!! Manolo Blahnik por supuesto... Creo que no necesito decir nada mas verdad???

Cult Saga for any fashionista. This serie/movie involve many designers, the style of Carrie and shoes! Manolo Blahnik of course...  I don't need to say more right??? 

Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009)

Seguramente todas la vimos por sentirnos un tanto reflejadas y además aliviadas por no llegar a ese extremo :). Una comedia romántica donde podemos ver mucha ropa de diseñador y shopping desenfrenado.

Surely we all saw it for feeling a little reflected but relieved too for not getting that far yet :). A romantic comedy where we can see a lot of designer clothes and wild shopping.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953)

Bautizado "el musical más glamoroso de la historia", sin lugar a dudas hay un antes y un después de esta película tan glamorosa, pero la escena de Marilyn y los diamantes son los mejores amigos de una mujer es indiscutiblemente un ícono del cine y la moda.

Called "the most glamorous musical in history," no doubt there is a before and after this so glamorous movie, but the scene of Marilyn and diamonds are the woman's best friends,  is undoubtedly an icon of cinema and fashion. 

Coco Before Chanel (2009)

Basada en la historia de Coco Chanel antes de convertirse en una famosa diseñadora, Audrey Tatou da vida a Gabrielle con muchiíimo estilo y gran presencia. Las fabulosas panorámicas de París complementan un filme.

Estas son mis favoritas! pero no puedo dejar de mencionar otras como "Vacaciones en Roma", "Lo que el viento se llevó" o "Marie Antoinette", seguramente ustedes tienes sus favoritas, me encantaría saber cuáles son!. Espero que hayan disfrutado este pequeño listado cinéfilo-fashionista!

Based on the story of Coco Chanel before she become in a famous designer, Audrey Tautou gives life to Gabrielle with lots of style and great presence. The fabulous panoramic view of Paris complement a film.

These are my favorites! but I can't stop mention the other as: "Roman Holiday", "Gone With the Wind" or "Marie Antoinette", surely you have your favorites, I would love to know which are!. I hope you enjoyed this little cinephile-fashionista list!
